As part of the Science of Being Foundation, the Shanti Bhavan Ashram was founded in 2003 by Dr. Budhacharan. The main aspiration of the Ashram is to perpetuate peace in Thailand and throughout the world through the exploration and practice of Vedic Knowledge.

Situated on 6.5 acres in beautiful Chiang Mai, Thailand, the Shanti Bhavan Ashram shares this land with the Amaravati Ayurveda Residence. Much of the proceeds from the Ayurveda center goes to furthering the humanitarian activities of the Shanti Bhavan Ashram and Science of Being Foundation.
